Exploding with incredible plum flavors lends this Knight’s Valley Zinfandel blend as the perfect wine for all occasions. Aromas of ripe black cherry, black currents and brandied soaked plums, with a subtle hint of holiday spice, cinnamon and black pepper. Visually stunning of dark crimson as the rich mouth feel, incredible legs, fantastic balance, entices you to sip and savor with all of your favorite grilled or smoked meats. 270 cases produced.

Vineyard Notes

Knights Valley AVA is an American Viticultural Area in Sonoma County, California. One of Sonoma County's original five American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), Knights Valley AVA was designated on October 21, 1983. Knights Valley includes over 2,000 acres of vineyards. The easternmost designated Sonoma County wine region has the warmest climate in the county. The valley lies between the Alexander Valley and Chalk Hill to the west and the Mayacamas Mountains to the east. This Knights Valley vineyard rests at a higher elevation and benefiting from a warmer climate directly underneath Mount Saint Helena. The average age of these Zinfandel and Cabernet vines are over 40 years old. Dark crimson in color foreshadows the intense flavors the region produces.
